Published satellite images of the military airfield Zyabrovka on the border of Belarus and Ukraine

Satellite images of the Zyabrovka military airfield on the border of Belarus and Ukraine, where the S-400 and Pantsir-S are deployed, have been published.

The Zyabrovka military airfield, located 22 kilometers from the border with Ukraine and actively used until recently by the Russian and Belarusian military, is still guarded by S-300\400 air defense systems and Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.

On the presented satellite images taken on February 4, one can see that the airfield is not used for the deployment of military aircraft, as evidenced by the uncleared runways and the absence of aircraft here. Judging by satellite images, 4-5 S-300 \ 400 air defense missile launchers are deployed here (it is not possible to establish the exact version of the air defense system from satellite images), as well as several Pantsir-S air defense systems. At the same time, experts drew attention to the appearance of two embankments, which were actively erected in the summer. This may indicate intentions to deploy radar equipment here to monitor low altitudes, especially against the backdrop of the recent deployment of Ukrainian HIMARS systems on the border with Belarus.

In general, the military airfield is used solely to cover the airspace of Belarus from possible attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine or to prevent possible incidents with the entry of anti-aircraft missiles into the airspace of Belarus.
