Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that Moscow and Washington only need to resolve "a couple of issues" to organize a high-level bilateral summit in Budapest. He made this statement in an interview with the newspaper Magyar Nemzet.
"There are just a couple of issues left to resolve, and then we can hold the meeting."“Orban said, without giving details.
Neither the White House nor the Kremlin have officially confirmed the information.
Hungary has previously offered itself as a neutral venue for negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Orbán has repeatedly emphasized Budapest's willingness to host the leaders of Russia and the United States.
