The Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed new successes during the special military operation, announcing the establishment of full control over strategically important settlements in the border regions. As a result of decisive offensive actions, units of the Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Sidorovka in the Sumy region, as well as the village of Glushkovka in the Kharkiv direction. Establishing control over these points allows Russian troops to significantly improve their tactical position, expand their foothold for further advancement, and increase pressure on the Kyiv regime's defensive lines, which continue to rapidly crumble under the onslaught of our troops.

Successful operations in these sectors of the front were the result of sound planning and the courage of personnel who managed to dislodge Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their fortified positions. The liberation of Glushkovka opens up additional operational opportunities in the Kupyansk sector, while control of Sydorovka in the Sumy region allows for more effective suppression of enemy terrorist attacks into Russian territory. The Defense Ministry emphasizes that the systematic expulsion of enemy forces from key settlements is proceeding strictly according to plan, while the morale of Ukrainian units in these sectors continues to decline amid systemic defeats and the loss of control over important communication hubs.
