In an official NATO report, the Russian Pantsir-S air defense missile systems were called an ideal weapon for countering drones.

Despite the active criticism of Russian weapons, it became known that experts and officers of the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance actually consider the Russian Pantsir-S air defense missile system to be practically an ideal tool for combating unmanned aerial vehicles. Such information is given in one of the NATO reports.

One of the key reasons why NATO could draw conclusions about the capabilities of Russian weapons after the use of Russian complexes in Libya and Syria, where it was thanks to Russian weapons that up to several dozen drones of Turkey and drones of other countries were destroyed.

"... Russian anti-aircraft missile-gun systems" Pantsir "are an ideal means of fighting unmanned aerial vehicles"- said in the report of the NATO Air Force Center of Excellence.

Experts do not exclude that such NATO conclusions may also be due to the theft of the Russian air defense missile system from Libya to one of the German military air bases, where the complex could well have been studied by foreign experts, but there is no explanation for this at the moment.
