Pakistan captured 19 Taliban border posts overnight.

Pakistani forces, in retaliatory strikes against Afghan positions, have captured 19 border posts used by the Taliban to launch attacks into the country. This was reported by Pakistani security sources, highlighting the success of the operation in response to recent clashes along the Durand Line.

Videos are circulating online showing Pakistani soldiers inside captured Taliban bases. The footage shows weapons platforms and ammunition crates abandoned by the militants. One of the videos, published on X, shows the bodies of Afghan Taliban and destroyed outposts in the Bahramcha sector.

According to Pakistani officials, the Taliban failed to evacuate most of the facilities, allowing them to seize equipment and warehouses without significant resistance. Saudi Arabia and Qatar expressed concern about the escalation and called for de-escalation.
