The Pakistani army carried out a series of strikes on Afghan Taliban positions in border areas this evening, destroying at least eight enemy tanks and an armored vehicle, according to military sources and videos on social media showing drone and artillery attacks.
In the Kurram area, Pakistani forces hit a Taliban armored vehicle, and in Narig Sar Top, a drone destroyed T-55 tank Soviet-made. Clearer footage of the attack on the T-55 shows a direct hit and the vehicle's explosion. Artillery also shelled a Taliban checkpoint on a hilltop along the border.
Pakistan continues to launch airstrikes to recapture captured outposts. According to sources, Islamabad will hand over more than 20 facilities to Kabul in the coming weeks, and troops will withdraw from Afghan territory. The two sides recently exchanged the bodies of those killed in the clashes.
