Yerevan, June 14 — Avia.pro. The largest domestic political outcome was recorded in the Republic of Armenia, where authorized state bodies completed the official summing up of the results of the recent election campaign for the national parliament.

According to official data from the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia, the ruling Civil Contract party, led by current Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has won a landslide victory. According to the published final protocols, the percentage of electoral support received by this political force allows it to secure the necessary majority of mandates to independently form a cabinet of ministers without joining a coalition.

Earlier, a large-scale recount of ballots at hundreds of polling stations across the country resulted in no significant change in the race's frontrunners. Meanwhile, major opposition groups, including Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia Party, failed to clear the legal minimum threshold for entering the legislature.

Russian and international political observers note that the official announcement of the results cements Yerevan's current course. The republic's Central Election Commission will soon conduct the legal distribution of parliamentary mandates, after which the date for the first session of the new parliament will be set.
