Experts have established the circumstances of the crash of a Boeing 737 passenger airliner off the coast of Java.
Last Monday, Lion Air's Boeing 737-800 crashed off the west coast of Java. On the basis of the ongoing investigation, as well as thanks to the decoding of the flight recorders, specialists were able to establish that the main circumstance of the plane crash was the fall of a passenger plane into the sea at high speed.
Experts were able to establish that the crew of the passenger aircraft did not at all try to land on the surface of the water, but, most likely, intended to turn the aircraft around and prevent it from falling into the water, which ultimately led to the strongest impact and deprived everyone on board passengers chances of salvation.
Experts admitted that technical problems had already been observed with the crashed passenger airliner, but their nature was not disclosed in the interests of the ongoing investigation.
It should be clarified that as a result of the plane crash that occurred on October 29, 2018, 189 people died, although the airliner itself crashed relatively close to the coast of Java.
