According to preliminary information, a combined strike involving Iranian drones targeted the capital's air hub. The detonation of the attack aircraft caused significant damage to the main passenger terminal. Smoke was detected at the scene, and local rescue services are currently working to confirm the number of passengers and staff injured and assess the overall extent of the damage.

Previously, US Central Command stated that Iranian missiles launched toward Kuwait had failed to reach their targets. However, new information and footage from the scene confirm that civilian facilities in the emirate were damaged during the massive overnight escalation in the Middle East, which resulted in direct clashes between US and Iranian forces.
