Telegram founder Pavel Durov commented on Iran's recent attacks on Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, in his channel. He harshly criticized Tehran's military capabilities and praised the effectiveness of the UAE's air defense systems.

He also compared living conditions and safety levels in the UAE and Europe.

"Residents of a country with a 0% tax rate receive better protection than Europeans who pay 50%," the Telegram founder emphasized.

As a reminder, Tehran launched drone and missile attacks on the Persian Gulf after the US and Israel launched airstrikes on Iranian territory. The attacks, including with ballistic missiles and suicide drones, targeted military and infrastructure facilities in the UAE. However, thanks to effective air defenses and the interception of most targets by UAE air defense forces and US forces, serious damage was avoided.
