The US Department of Defense is developing plans for the complete withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. The reason for this was the emergency evacuation of the military from Syria, moreover, this is seriously exacerbated by the fact that US President Donald Trump previously made a statement about the readiness of the complete withdrawal of American troops from this country.

“According to anonymous members of the command, plans include the likelihood that the American leader will demand a complete exit from Afghanistan in the coming weeks. Such orders have not yet been received, but preparations have begun - an unexpected withdrawal of troops from Syria had to be carried out in a hurry, at the Pentagon they consider him a “rehearsal” of a possible withdrawal from Afghanistan- reports the publication "Lenta.ru."

Experts do not exclude that Trump can really achieve the withdrawal of the US military from Afghanistan, however, obviously, this process will stretch for several years.

It should be noted that at the moment, the US military is undergoing regular attacks in Afghanistan, and the losses are often hidden.
