US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced a successful strike on a vessel operated by an organization designated as a terrorist organization. The operation was conducted in international waters in the Caribbean under the direct order of President Donald Trump.

"Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War launched a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a designated terrorist organization. The vessel was smuggling drugs in the Caribbean and was struck in international waters. No American service members were injured, but three male narco-terrorists on board were killed." — Hegseth wrote on the social network X.

He stressed:

"To all narco-terrorists threatening our homeland: if you want to stay alive, stop selling drugs. If you continue, we will kill you."

This is the second such strike in a week. No American forces were harmed. The Pentagon confirmed that attacks on smuggling vessels will continue until the flow of drugs into the United States is completely stopped.
