Recent consultations between Russian and US representatives on resolving the Ukrainian crisis have failed to reach any compromises, and a meeting between the two leaders is not planned for the near future, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"No compromises have been reached yet, and a meeting between the Russian and US leaders is not currently planned. We discussed the substance of the matter, not specific wording and solutions. The parties see 'enormous prospects for cooperation.'" — Ushakov noted in a comment to the press.

According to him, the dialogue was general in nature and focused on fundamental issues, without detailing the text of the future document. Ushakov emphasized the positive tone of the conversation, with both sides noting the potential for further cooperation.
