The preliminary dates for the appearance of the deck version of the Su-57 have been announced.

Against the background of the completion of work on the repair and modernization of the Russian heavy aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov", information appeared that the Russian fleet was preparing to equip the deck of this aircraft carrier with a group of Su-57 fighters. As we managed to find out, we are talking about a carrier-based version of the Russian fifth-generation fighter, moreover, the latter may appear in 1,5-2 years.

The source of the news agency Avia.pro reports that Russian designers are indeed working on the development of a carrier-based version of the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57, while the development stage is not indicated, however, preliminary dates for the appearance of the carrier-based version of the Su-57 are 2023 year.

There is no official confirmation of this data, however, the Russian fleet is clearly interested in increasing the combat capability of the Russian aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov" through the use of high-tech fighters - even the current version of the Su-57 alone is enough to successfully withstand an entire aircraft carrier strike group of the enemy. however, with the advent of a modernized version that will use the latest weapons, the combat effectiveness will increase significantly.
