Ukraine will receive American tanks M1 Abrams within the next 2-2,5 months.

At the moment, it is known that 400 Ukrainian soldiers began to be trained to work on this military equipment a day ago. It may take 10 to 12 weeks to complete the training course, after which these combat vehicles will arrive on the territory of Ukraine, similar to how the Leopard 2 and Challenger 2 tanks were deployed to Ukraine.

How successful the training of Ukrainian tankers will be under such a rather compressed program is still unknown, however, the supply of M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine is unlikely to make serious adjustments to the capabilities of the Ukrainian army. This is primarily due to the fact that the number of such tanks in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be very limited. However, given the U.S. stockpiles of this equipment, it is more than likely that new deliveries should be expected in the future, however, this will probably depend on how successful the use of the first batch of combat vehicles will be.

In total, the United States is transferring three dozen M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, and deliveries are being made from the Pentagon's warehouses.
