Naval aviation of the Russian Federation had adopted the first Arctic helicopter.

At present, the Arctic Mi-8AMTSH-VA has passed Offshore Russian aviation, and as it became known information portal Avia.pro, after a series of additional tests, the helicopter will begin to actively operate. Given the high efficiency of the helicopter, most likely in the near future armed forces augmented by several more cars of this model.

A key feature of the Mi-8AMTSH-BA is able to operate in conditions of extreme cold, in particular, as noted by the developers of the direct air means the helicopter could wind up even at temperatures below 60 degrees.
