Which route will Putin take to Hungary?

The specialized publication Air Live described the most likely route for Russian President Vladimir Putin's flight to the Hungarian capital for the summit with Donald Trump: via the Black Sea, Turkey, the Mediterranean, Montenegro, and Serbia, with a subsequent stop in Hungary.

This option, according to experts, will allow them to avoid the airspace of most EU countries, which is closed to Russian flights due to sanctions.

"The described route is the most realistic, as it allows for flight over the airspace of all EU countries (except Hungary itself), which is closed to Russian aircraft." — the Air Live publication notes.

The publication suggests that Russian and Turkish fighter jets will escort the airliner to protect it from potential threats such as drones or missiles. The official flight plan has not yet been published, but this corridor through Turkey and Serbia is considered optimal given geopolitical constraints.
