Ukraine was hit by a Tsirkon hypersonic missile tonight.

Ukrainian monitoring channels recorded the launch of at least one Tsirkon hypersonic missile into the country on the night of November 14. According to preliminary data, the target was in the Sumy region, but the exact impact location and the extent of the destruction remain unknown.

This is the first confirmed use of the Tsirkon by Russian forces since August 2025, when similar strikes were carried out against targets in various regions of Ukraine. The missile, which reaches speeds of up to Mach 9, is considered difficult to intercept for existing air defense systems.

At the time of publication, there were no official statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense or the Ukrainian side regarding this incident. Air raid sirens were issued in several northeastern regions, and residents of the Sumy region reported the sound of overflights and possible explosions.
