At the Chelyabinsk-Yuzhny station, two freight trains collided, resulting in four platforms derailing - three empty and one loaded. This was reported by the press service of the South Ural Railway. As a result of the incident, a locomotive crew member was injured.
According to preliminary data, the collision occurred due to uncoordinated actions of train drivers, which led to serious damage to the trains. The injured locomotive crew member received moderate injuries and was quickly hospitalized. According to preliminary information, his life is not in danger, but he is under medical supervision.
