Today it became known that a Ukrainian drone managed to shoot down helicopter Mi-8 of the Russian Guard during takeoff. This was reported by the military channel “Voevoda Broadcasts”.

As the author of the channel clarifies, the attack took place at a considerable distance from the line of combat contact. Yesterday there was already information about attempts by Ukrainian forces to use drones to attack Russian army aviation and, unfortunately, today these attempts were successful.

“We caught the Russian Guard eight at the moment of takeoff,” - said in a statement.

There have been no official statements on this matter from the Russian defense department yet.
