Poland, June 4 — Avia.pro. The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) has officially announced temporary flight restrictions in the eastern part of the country. The special regime, which covers airspace along the entire border with Belarus and Ukraine, will take effect at 00:00 AM on June 10 and last until 23:59 PM on September 9.

These measures are being introduced based on an official request from the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, citing the need to ensure national security. The restricted zone, codenamed EP R131, will encompass a border strip 20 to 50 kilometers deep, with a complete ban on flights at night and strict regulations for light aircraft during the day.

The relevant department emphasized that the measures being taken will not have a significant impact on civilian air travel. The proposed air traffic restrictions do not apply to scheduled commercial passenger flights if their altitude exceeds three kilometers.
