An F-15 fighter jet crashed in Saudi Arabia.
This happened almost simultaneously with the fact that Iran announced that they had adopted new electronic warfare systems with a range of hitting targets up to 400 kilometers and had already tested the system on enemy aircraft. Remarkably, the Saudi authorities carefully concealed the disaster for almost two weeks. However, video frames still leaked to the network and, as it turned out, the aircraft's control systems completely failed, which is very typical for the operation of the electronic warfare complex.
On the presented video frames you can see the moment of the crash of the F-15 fighter of the Saudi Arabian Air Force. The latter does not have any traces of fire, but at the same time it is rapidly losing altitude, after which it crashes into the ground.
Quite remarkable is the fact that just at that time Iran announced that ultra-long-range electronic warfare systems appeared in the arsenal of the country, which, as stated, had already been tested on foreign aircraft.
“Afshin Naderi Sharif, Iranian Deputy Defense Minister for Industrial and Research Affairs, said that the local defense forces have made such significant progress in recent years that an enemy air object cannot easily enter the country's airspace without being detected. “We managed to jam enemy reconnaissance aircraft at a distance of 400 kilometers. The enemy also knows that such know-how was obtained by the defense industry of the Islamic Republic and institutionalized,” he added., - reports the Tasnim news agency.
This fact does not exclude the possibility that Iran could indeed use its electronic warfare system against the Saudi fighter, especially if we take into account the fact that the latter fell due to a failure of control systems.
