The Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom commented on the new package of anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the UK government. The diplomatic mission called these restrictions a "hostile move" and emphasized that London has been the donor of military aid to the Kyiv regime throughout the conflict, thereby escalating and prolonging the fighting.

The embassy's statement noted that, despite the British authorities' lofty slogans, the impact of this sanctions package, like all previous ones, on the overall situation, much less the progress of the special military operation, "will not be noticeable." Diplomats emphasized that the restrictions will not achieve their intended goals.

The British side, in turn, decided not to comment on the statement of the Russian diplomatic mission.
