India C-400

Russian C-400 shipments to India were postponed until 2025

Russia will complete the delivery of C-400 to India only by 2025 year.

Despite the fact that Russian military enterprises produce no less than three sets of C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems per year, these anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems will be delivered to India for at least 5-6 years, and will be completed only by 2025 year .

"Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Vladimir Drozhzhov, said that Russia is offering India to jointly develop an 5 generation fighter, and also announced that Russia will finish supplying C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to 2024-2025 years", - the newspaper "" reports.

The first batch of Russian C-400 SAMs will be delivered to India in 2020, however, later, under unknown circumstances, the supply will be delayed.

It should be clarified that despite the prospects of the Russian air defense / missile defense systems, the Indian media actively criticize the Russian Triumph C-400, which still raises many concerns about whether India will not give up its obligations to Russia, especially against the backdrop of how Washington threatens to impose sanctions on any country that buys Russian weapons.
