Delivery of T-14 Armata tanks to Russian army postponed to 2022

The delivery dates for the T-14 "Armata" tanks were again postponed.

Despite the announcements in 2020 that the newest domestic T-14 Armata tank will finally appear in service with the Russian army in 2021, it became known that the delivery dates for these heavy armored vehicles could again be shifted - presumably by one more year.

The reason to doubt that the T-14 "Armata" tanks will enter service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2021 was publication The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in which, among the listed equipment and weapons planned to enter the troops in 2021, the T-14 "Armata" tanks do not appear, which causes very serious concern, since these combat vehicles cannot still be adopted for service, although the supply of these tanks was first reported back in 2015.

It should be clarified that relatively recent information appeared that the developers eliminated all existing defects with the power plant from the Russian Armata tanks, while it was also reported that these combat vehicles took part in battles in Syria, although the Russian defense department did not officially confirm this information.

It should be noted that today the T-14 "Armata" tanks are considered promising combat vehicles.
