Ambassador of Belarus to the UN: the training of Belarusian pilots and the deployment of tactical nuclear warheads on the territory of Belarus are an exceptional and forced reaction.

The permanent representative of Belarus to the UN, Valentin Rybakov, said that the training of Belarusian pilots by the Russian side and the possible deployment of tactical nuclear warheads on the territory of Belarus are necessary measures that are taken in response to threats to national security.

Rybakov stressed that Belarus is facing a number of problems, such as illegal migration flows, drug transit and terrorist threats, which are detrimental to the country's national security. In this regard, Belarus and Russia are taking the necessary measures to ensure the security of their borders and the protection of their citizens.

Rybakov noted that the deployment of tactical nuclear warheads on the territory of Belarus does not violate the international obligations of Belarus and does not pose a threat to other countries. According to him, this is a necessary measure to ensure national security in the face of threats and challenges faced by Belarus.
