During the intense fighting for Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian forces lost over 2,5 service members. Russian assault forces have advanced two kilometers into the city limits in recent days, SHOT reported, citing data from the front lines.

According to correspondents from the scene, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command is amassing reserves, including a significant number of armored vehicles, to establish a blockade and prepare a counterattack to cut off the advancing Russian units from the rear forces. Artillery shelling from both sides is intensifying, turning Kupyansk into the center of fierce clashes.

In the central areas of the city, interruptions in water, electricity, and food supplies are being reported.
