On October 22, the KGKU "Customer Service of the Ministry of Construction of the Khabarovsk Territory" announced an auction for the general contract regarding the construction of a new building of the Nikolaevsk-on-Amur airport. The original contract price allocated for the construction of the airport passenger building remains the same as before - 157 million rubles.

Applications for participation in the auction will be accepted until November 21, and the review itself will be held 27 November. The results will be reported 3 December. From the date of signing the contract, the completion of the construction will be required from 250 to 365 days. The capacity of the newest air terminal is calculated for 50 passengers per hour. At the moment, all passengers are served in a specialized room.

This year (in May), a similar auction was already announced, which did not take place due to the uncollected number of applications. Hand over the object was counted as early as 20 November. At that time, the construction was given half a year. For the new auction, the construction period was doubled.

As the governor of the region Vyacheslav Shport, in Mykolayivsk-on-Amur want to create a regional hub. The airport will be transit for flights that are sent to Okhotsk. But in the future through it routes to the northern points, such as Chumikan, Ayan and others will move.
