The first footage from the site of the defeat of the Azerbaijani Mi-17 by an Armenian anti-aircraft missile appeared on the Web.

The Avia.pro news agency has acquired unique video footage from the site of the defeat of the Azerbaijani military multipurpose helicopter Mi-17 by an anti-aircraft guided missile fired by the Armenian military while violating the airspace of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

Judging by the presented video frames, we are talking about a relatively small missile defense system - presumably either the Osa complex or the Tor-M2E complex operated, which is confirmed by the footage taken a few moments before the crash of the Azerbaijani military helicopter.

In the presented video frames, you can see that the multi-purpose helicopter's cabin was completely destroyed - it is obvious that the rocket hit the head of the rotorcraft.

To date, this is the only loss of a manned military aircraft recognized by Azerbaijan in 44 days of the armed conflict in Karabakh, although at the same time the Azerbaijan Air Force lost a fairly large number of An-2 unmanned aircraft, the purpose of which is still not known for certain.
