Avia.pro has obtained the first footage of a missile hitting a Russian Mi-24.

The Azerbaijani side has fully acknowledged its involvement in the missile's destruction of the Russian Mi-24 combat helicopter, which was flying near the border of Azerbaijan. Nevertheless, as it turned out, a random security camera was able to capture the last seconds of the rotorcraft's existence.

In the video footage presented, you can see how the Russian Mi-24 helicopter is flying literally a few hundred meters from the border with Azerbaijan, and just a moment later a rocket was fired at the helicopter, which knocked out the combat vehicle, leaving the last no chance, as well as and the crew members who were in it.

According to the Azerbaijani side, one of the circumstances of launching a rocket into a Russian combat helicopter was the fact that the latter did not identify himself, flying in the dark, and the command of the Russian military airbase in Gyumri was fully aware of the tension in the region. Nevertheless, Baku apologized to the Russian side, noting that it recognizes this fact, which is an exceptional coincidence.

It should be noted that the Russian side has not yet evaluated the actions of Azerbaijan.
