Russian Air Defense Forces (Air Defense) in the Kerch region successfully shot down a Storm Shadow cruise missile. However, video footage has also emerged showing the successful interception of the missile by the Russian military.

The published footage shows how, after the sound of a loud explosion, fragments of a rocket appear in the sky, rapidly falling to the ground. It is known that as a result of the attack there are no casualties or damage.

The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, confirmed the incident on Sunday. However, the head of the Republic of Crimea did not voice any details on this matter.

According to preliminary data, the Storm Shadow cruise missile was used for the strike, however, even despite the relatively low altitude of its flight, the latter did not manage to get past the Russian air defense systems.

It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine make regular attacks on the Crimea, however, the vast majority of them manage to repel the Russian military.
