A fire broke out at the Lyubertsy military registration and enlistment office.

Lyubertsy News, December 15, 2025, Avia.pro. This morning, residents of Lyubertsy, Moscow Region, noticed signs of a fire on the third floor of the military registration and enlistment office building. One of the rooms had lost its glass, and traces of soot and fire were visible on the façade, indicating the seriousness of the incident. The fire started overnight and was extinguished by 4:00 AM Moscow time. The cause of the fire is still being determined, and the department is conducting an investigation.

The incident occurred amid increased unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks in the region, where 29 drones were shot down overnight over the Moscow region, including 19 aimed at Moscow. While a direct connection between the fire and the attacks has not yet been established, local residents suspect a possible act of sabotage, given the strategic importance of the military registration and enlistment offices. There are no reports of casualties or significant damage.
