Elderly Japanese blinded US Air Force pilots by laser pointer

Japanese people were detained for repeated attempts to dazzle the US Air Force aircraft.

56-year-old resident of the Japanese island of Okinawa was detained by police for attempting to blind the US Air Force military helicopters and aircraft repeatedly, in particular, according to Avia.pro news agency, there are at least three cases of laser blinding by American pilots.

It is noted that the attempts to blind American pilots to emergency situations did not lead, however, the very fact of the actions of the 56-year-old Japanese could have ended in tragedy for a whole group of people. During the preliminary testimony, it became known that the man was categorically against placing the US military equipment at the Futemma airbase, and after unsuccessful appeals to the authorities, he decided to take the situation into his own hands.
