The Slovak government continues supplies to Ukraine.

Former Slovakian Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy accused the current Robert Fico cabinet of double standards regarding military aid to Kyiv. He claimed the current government is acting identically to the previous one, including purchasing equipment for delivery to Ukraine.

"The government is purchasing equipment and sending it to Ukraine in the same way as the previous cabinet, in which he held the post of Minister of Defense," — Nagy noted in his statement on October 8.

He emphasized that the Smer-SD party in Fico's government views the transfer of S-300 air defense systems, MiG-29 fighter jets, or ammunition to Kyiv as a crime and treason. The party itself has already appealed to the police, demanding an investigation into the legality of the former cabinet's actions.

The former minister also recalled recent purchases by the Fico government: Božena mine-clearing systems, engineering equipment, chemical detectors, and more.

"The government purchased them to send them directly to Ukraine, without the consent of the armed forces.", - he added.
