Small aircraft sent for 110 km.

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is preparing to change the order of exclusion zones and restricted zones during the Confederations Cup FIFA2017. In particular, it is planned to fly around Moscow radius restriction zone 110 kilometers in the period from June to 1 4 2017 year in July. Similar zones will be installed around

St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. In this case, the document in fact we are talking about restrictions only for general aviation and small commercial flights of Civil Aviation.

With all due respect to football and solidarity in security matters, we believe the proposed measures excessive, inappropriate and just pointless. Such pervasive restrictions will cause a severe blow to a young growing sector of the Russian economy - general aviation. And also lead to very serious loss of all those who directly or indirectly associated with this industry.

In addition, an important factor is the fact that the owners of private helicopters is carried out in this period, a lot of sorties for search and rescue missions. It's no secret that in the forests around the major cities, hundreds of people lost each year. General aviation year already voluntarily flies to the rescue in such cases, to save a life is lost. Forbidden Zone in 110 kilometers it is just the most common challenges of the territory.

AOPA-Russia is asking to suspend the signing and implementation of this order into effect in the form in which it exists at the moment, and to review the proposed measures. We understand that the limitations in conducting such events are needed. But we believe that you can do it in a civilized way, without blocking oxygen general aviation.

On the eve of the relevant letter from the chairman of the AOPA-Russia Vladimir Tyurin was sent to a foster Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister in the receiving presidential aide Igor Levitin.
