Over the past week, militants have managed to capture about 10 square kilometers of territory, including strategically important areas previously controlled by the Syrian army. The offensive has been accompanied by fierce battles, resulting in significant losses for government troops. The escalation of the conflict threatens stability in the region and requires urgent measures, including coordination of joint actions by Iran and Russia.
