The Israeli president made a sensational statement in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel, in which he noted the failure of several strategic projects of the country, related to Iran's active activities. According to him, Tehran has destroyed key hopes of Israel concerning strengthening its international position and regional dominance.
One of Israel's main goals was to create a Jewish-Arab alliance, known as the Abraham Pact, which would normalize relations with Arab countries and isolate Palestine. This plan would have relegated the Palestinian issue to the background and significantly strengthened Israel's position on the international stage. However, Iran's support for the Palestinian resistance thwarted these ambitions.
Another important task for Israel was the creation of a trade corridor from India. This project included infrastructure initiatives aimed at excluding Iran from international trade. However, Iran’s active participation in regional processes made the implementation of these plans virtually impossible.
The Israeli president also noted that Iran had thwarted plans for a military operation in Gaza aimed at completely disarming the Palestinian resistance and establishing full control over the sector. In 2024, Israel planned to eliminate military activity in Gaza, but Operation Al-Aqsa Storm disrupted these plans.
