The cause of the emergency at Nord Stream is three explosions in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark.

Currently, gas is not transported through the Nord Stream pipeline. Pipeline damage is very serious, although repairable. However, in order to blow up two branches of the pipeline, specialized equipment and deep-sea vehicles would be required, and therefore, we are actually talking about an act of terrorism.

On the presented diagram you can see the places of explosions of gas pipelines. At the same time, which is quite remarkable, the EU believes that the attack may be repeated, in connection with which, the same Sweden imposed a ban on the flights of any aircraft over the region where two pipeline branches were destroyed.

Given that to date, no known terrorist group has submersibles capable of being at the bottom to damage the pipeline, this is more than likely an act of state terrorism, which can be established as part of the investigation.

To date, a number of countries that opposed the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline are under suspicion, however, for obvious reasons, the West will try to blame the Russian side for what happened.
