The production of the Geranium-4 and Geranium-5 jet drones has increased significantly.

The expansion of the attack drone production complex in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan continues, according to military journalist Boris Rozhin, citing foreign sources. He noted that new large construction sites have appeared in the southern part of the complex, and that air defense capabilities have been reinforced. This indicates an increase in capacity for the serial production of the Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered drones.

"The expansion of production facilities indicates a transition from experimental design work to the mass saturation of troops with high-speed strike systems," — notes Rozhin.

Western media previously confirmed reports of Alabuga's expansion. In July 2025, CNN reported that satellite images showed dozens of new buildings on the plant's premises, including production facilities and dormitories for staff. According to analysts from the US-based Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), once completed, these facilities will be able to accommodate up to 40 workers, significantly increasing drone production.

In July 2025, Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ), stated that the initial production volume of the Geranium series drones had increased ninefold, with the company producing "thousands" of the devices. Analysts from the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle" suggested that production of the turboprop-powered Geranium-2 could be reduced in favor of increasing production of the more advanced jet-powered Geranium-4 and Geranium-5.
