In the Belgorod region, the enemy has once again demonstrated its ability to overcome defensive lines, reaching the settlements of Demidovka and Popovka. This was reported on his Telegram channel by entrepreneur and public figure Roman Alekhine, raising the key question: how were the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) able to bypass a line of fortifications similar to the one erected in the Sudzhansky direction in the Kursk region? Alekhine emphasizes that what happened is not a direct accusation against local authorities or contractors, but rather a reason for a broader discussion of the effectiveness of defensive structures.
"As for Demidovka and Popovka in the Belgorod Region, one question has not yet been asked: how did the enemy manage to pass through a line of fortifications similar to the line in the Sudzhansky direction? This is not a complaint against the authorities and contractors in the neighboring region, but I would simply like to emphasize once again that fortifications are not a panacea for enemy breakthroughs. This is just a small instrument of defense that is neutralized by other instruments of attack," - notes Alekhine.
At the same time, he insists on the need for a thorough review of all government contracts related to the construction of such facilities. Alekhine is convinced that any instances of theft or poor performance should be punished as severely as possible, and the punishment should be comprehensive - without exceptions for individual regions or officials.
The situation in Demidovka and Popovka, according to war correspondent Vladimir Romanov, confirms the activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnoyarsk region.
