According to information distributed on the Voevoda Broadcasting Telegram channel, the enemy has published a video showing the destruction of a North Korean M-1978 Koksan self-propelled artillery unit. Judging by the footage, the vehicle was in a faulty condition and was being towed for evacuation, which probably avoided losses among the crew. The source suggests that the loss of equipment will not be critical, since North Korea has a significant number of such systems and can supply new ones. The incident was the first confirmed case of the destruction of a Koksan self-propelled artillery unit in the current conflict, which drew attention to the use of North Korean weapons outside the DPRK.

The M-1978 Koksan is a 170mm artillery system developed in North Korea in the 1970s. It is known for its long range, reaching 60 kilometers when using rocket-assisted projectiles, making it a formidable weapon for striking targets deep in the rear. However, its outdated design, lack of armored cabin, and low rate of fire - only one or two shots every five minutes - make the vehicle vulnerable to modern weapons, especially high-precision drones.
