Putin does not rule out the possibility of new Ukrainian attacks on Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated the need to be prepared for possible new attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the border regions of the country, including the Bryansk region. This threat remains relevant against the backdrop of recent events in the Kursk region, where significant clashes have occurred in recent days.

According to information provided by the acting governor of the Kursk region, Ukrainian troops managed to penetrate to a depth of 12 kilometers and occupied an area about 40 kilometers wide. As a result of these actions, the Kursk region suffered serious losses: 12 civilians were killed, 121 people were injured, including 10 children.

Putin emphasized that the current situation requires special attention and readiness to repel possible new attacks. He noted that strengthening defense in border regions and promptly responding to threats are key tasks for the near future.
