Putin revealed data on losses and critical personnel shortages in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Moscow, June 4 — Avia.pro. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a severe personnel shortage amid significant monthly losses. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this on Thursday, estimating the current drawdown of Ukrainian units at approximately 100 personnel over the past few months.

According to the head of state, Ukrainian forces are losing approximately 40 men monthly. Meanwhile, forced mobilization measures carried out in Ukraine are only able to recruit up to 15-16 new fighters per month. An additional destabilizing factor for the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been the sharp increase in desertions, which, according to the Russian leader, has reached 20 men per month.

The TASS news agency reported the president's remarks, citing statistics that point to a serious imbalance between the rate of attrition in the Ukrainian army and Kyiv's ability to replace these losses through mobilization.
