The Russian leader urged not to allow shelling of Russian territories.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to prevent shelling of Russian regions. According to the Russian leader, this is a direct task of the Russian defense department. This may indicate that the Russian military will deploy additional air defense equipment, as well as counter-battery weapons, on the territory of the Zaporozhye, Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson regions.

Today, both the new regions previously annexed to Russia, and the territory of the Bryansk, Belgorod and other regions of Russia are actively shelled by Ukraine. For attacks, not only missiles are used, but also long-range artillery. This makes it impossible to intercept such projectiles and clearly makes it difficult to carry out the instructions of the Russian leader. Nevertheless, in the case of concentrating strikes on artillery supplied by the West, very significant success can be achieved and, if not completely eliminated, then at least reduce their number.

What measures the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will take to fulfill the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin remains unknown so far.
