Russian air defense managed to intercept two targets over Kherson.

Two unknown targets were successfully destroyed over Kherson this morning. Judging by the height of the interception, we are talking about the M30A1 or M31A1 missiles of the American Hymers systems. Both missiles, judging by the video footage, were intercepted at a distance from the city, and the latter were flying from the direction of Nikolaev.

On the presented video frames, you can see how air defense systems successfully intercept American missiles fired at Kherson. What exactly was the purpose of the strike is unknown, but the missiles flying at a speed of 3,5 MAX were shot down just a few seconds before the strike, when the missiles were maneuvering along a quasi-ballistic trajectory.

Earlier it became known that the protection of the airspace over the Kherson region would be significantly strengthened, however, at the same time, on the eve of the day, attacks were made on the area of ​​the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, as a result of which there were victims and destruction.

Notable in the current attack is the fact that the strikes were carried out in the morning, although such attacks are often carried out at night in order to minimize the chance of finding the launchers.
