Russian air defense repelled a large-scale drone attack on Crimea and the Krasnodar region

Early in the morning, around 06:30 Moscow time, Russian air defenses successfully repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by the Ukrainian side. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 15 drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory, indicating increased activity in Kyiv in using unmanned vehicles for attacks.

As part of the operation, at about 07:00, ten Ukrainian UAVs, presumably intended to attack military and strategically important targets, were shot down over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory. Additionally, five drones were destroyed over the Black Sea. The military stressed that all attacking vehicles were successfully detected and neutralized before they could reach their targets.

The authorities of the Krasnodar region and representatives of Crimea confirmed that as a result of the incident, no serious damage to objects on the ground was recorded, and no casualties were reported among the civilian population. Law enforcement agencies are working at drone crash sites.

It is interesting to note that the Ukrainian media reacted to the morning attack rather sluggishly, only stating the fact of what happened. This may be due to the fact that the main attention of world news agencies is now focused on the worsening situation in the Middle East, which is why the Ukrainian conflict fades into the background in the international arena.
