Klimovsk News, December 12, 2025, Avia.pro. Residents of Klimovsk, near Moscow, heard sounds resembling explosions around 13:35 PM Moscow time. Locals attribute the sounds to air defense systems intercepting Ukrainian drones.

At 13:44 PM, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed on his Telegram channel that another drone had been destroyed while approaching the capital.

"The Ministry of Defense's air defense system repelled an attack by two UAVs. Emergency services are working at the crash site." - he wrote.

Thus, since 09:00 in the morning, seven drones are known to have been destroyed.

Due to the threat of an attack, restrictions on aircraft landing and departure remain in effect at Sheremetyevo Airport. Flights are only departing with the approval of the relevant authorities.
