Five people were killed in a Ukrainian drone strike on the town of Dzhankoy in Crimea. The head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, expressed his sincere and deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims, promising that authorities will provide all necessary assistance and support.
Responsible services are working at the scene. The head of Crimea is personally monitoring the situation and asks residents to remain calm and trust only official information.
On the previous evening and into the night of May 5, Crimea and Sevastopol were subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. There has been no official comment from the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the situation in Dzhankoy at this time.
