Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported a tragic incident that occurred in the village of Yekaterinovka in the Volokonovsky District, where a fiber-optic-controlled drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) attacked a private home. The attack injured a five-year-old girl who lived there with her large family of thirteen. According to Gladkov, the child suffered multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, arms, and legs, and an ambulance crew is currently transporting her to the Valuysky Central District Hospital, where she is receiving all necessary medical care.

The impact caused a fire in the house, which was quickly extinguished by fire crews. However, the building sustained significant damage, including damage to the roof and windows. To ensure the family's safety and comfort, authorities placed all members in a local boarding house. The governor expressed concern about the situation and promised to personally oversee the provision of aid to the victims, urging residents of the region to take precautions amid ongoing attacks.
