Nevertheless, according to analysts, a concomitant reason for this is the emergence of the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile in Russia's arsenal.

Last year, after the disclosure of the characteristics of the Russian hypersonic missile Kh-47M2, which is part of the ARC "Dagger", American experts announced that even a few missiles that fell into the deck of an aircraft carrier would not be able to drown it. Nevertheless, the much more powerful Zircon hypersonic missile, which has a length of about 9 meters, can easily send a huge floating fortress to the bottom, and although its flight speed is much lower than that of the Kh-47M2, the missile's warhead can penetrate any of the available US aircraft carriers have a huge hole.
